Business Development Lead

Protex AI is a VC-backed technology company building a privacy-preserving computer vision platform to enable proactive Health and Safety (EHS) workflows. About this Role:

We're looking for a skilled people manager with over three years leadership experience to manage our scaling cross-regional team of Business Development Representatives (BDR). You will be an expert in developing processes, dictating KPIs, and mentoring high-performing distributed teams in a thriving, fast-paced startup environment. As this is a hybrid role, there will be a requirement to have a presence in our Dublin office to collaborate with counterpart cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

Lead and support a team of ambitious cross-regional BDRs
Continuously develop and manage repeatable business development processes
Create quality outbound and inbound pipelines for our Account Executive team
Provide actionable insights from sales data for consistent improvements to processes
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to develop inbound and outbound campaigns
Ensure the BDR team are capturing quality lead information to provide actionable insights for our Product team
Collaborate with our People team to design comprehensive onboarding and ongoing enablement programs for our BDRs

We’re looking for someone who has...:

3+ years demonstrated experience leading and scaling a high-performing team of BDRs
Proven history of working in a software company and understands the SaaS business model
Demonstrated experience forming and managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are aligned to company Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
Demonstrated experience as a SDR/BDR that can speak to the day-to-day challenges
Proven ability to interpret feedback, learn, and iterate quickly
Previous experience working in an early stage or scaling SaaS company
Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring both high performing and low performing direct reports
Demonstrated experience in collaborative environments
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining productive relationships with colleagues and cross-functional teammates
Demonstrated experience collaborating with others to develop strategies
